You are here because you are ready for something to change in your life. My goal is to help you find peace, heal from painful experiences, and improve your relationships. Together, we will explore the symptoms and stressors that feel overwhelming and help you build a more meaningful and satisfying future.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a Doctor of Behavioral Health and am EMDRIA-trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a leading trauma-focused therapy. I specialize in treating trauma and trauma-related symptoms, including anxiety, depression, dissociation, relational wounds, and chronic stress. I support teens, adults, and seniors as they navigate complex emotional experiences and the lasting impact of difficult life events.
My clinical approach integrates EMDR, mindfulness-based cognitive behavioral therapy, and, when desired, Christian counseling. I am compassionate, authentic, and collaborative, tailoring treatment to each person’s strengths and needs. I help clients understand the deeper emotions tied to their trauma history, such as shame, fear, and anger, while developing grounding strategies, resilience, and healthier patterns of connection.
I also bring personal experience as a former foster care provider and adoptive parent, which informs my understanding of attachment needs, identity development, and the impacts of early trauma.
Outside the office, I enjoy martial arts and hold a black belt in Aikido and a blue belt in Tae Kwon Do. I also love college basketball, especially cheering for the University of Kansas Jayhawks!
Life after trauma is possible. You deserve support, healing, and hope, and I’m here to walk with you through that process.
