Therapist

Strategies for Success

I am a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who takes an individualized approach to therapy, tailoring sessions to each client’s unique interests, strengths, and needs. I believe therapy can be both effective and engaging, and I create a space where children and teens feel comfortable, understood, and open to learning. In addition to conversation-based therapy, I incorporate creative and interactive activities to help clients build insight, develop coping skills, and express themselves in ways that feel natural and meaningful. I draw from evidence-based approaches, including CBT-informed, DBT, and mindfulness techniques, and adapt these skills in ways that feel approachable and relevant to each client’s daily life.
I work with children, teens, and families, with a focus on anxiety, trauma, ADHD, emotional regulation, and behavioral concerns. I am EMDR-trained and use trauma-informed practices to support clients in processing difficult experiences and building resilience. I value collaboration with caregivers and aim to support growth both in and outside of sessions.
I received my Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Iowa State University and my Master of Social Work from Arizona State University.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my three dogs and finding ways to relax and recharge.
