Tsahai Dias
I am a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW and CCTSI) with extensive experience providing clinical services to children, adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, and families. My practice is grounded in evidence-based, trauma-informed, and integrative therapeutic approaches. I am skilled in identifying behavioral patterns, emotional barriers, and underlying trauma responses, and I prioritize creating a safe, structured, and non-judgmental space where clients can develop insight, strengthen coping skills, and achieve measurable therapeutic progress.
My clinical interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness-Based interventions, Psychoeducation, Problem-Solving Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Group Therapy, Self-Regulation and Vagus Nerve techniques, Body-Focused and Somatic methodologies, and specialized Trauma Treatment modalities. I integrate mind-body practices to support emotional regulation, resilience, behavioral change, and long-term wellness.
I have worked across outpatient, community, and behavioral health settings, providing diagnostic assessments, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and supportive services for clients navigating trauma, anxiety, grief, identity challenges, relationship stressors, family dynamics, and life transitions. My clinical approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and strengths-based, emphasizing empowerment, autonomy, and sustainable internal growth.
My personal background also informs my sensitivity to diverse experiences. I am originally from Brazil, fluent in English and Portuguese, and bring a multicultural lens to my clinical work. Prior to my career in social work, I pursued professional dance after leaving medical school—an experience that deepened my understanding of resilience, discipline, and the therapeutic connection between movement and emotional well-being. Outside of work, I remain committed to physical wellness and enjoy exploring active, enriching experiences that support a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
