I am a bilingual Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist–Individual (CCTSI) with comprehensive experience delivering evidence-based behavioral health services to children, adolescents, adults, seniors, couples, and families. My clinical practice is rooted in trauma-informed care and integrative treatment models, with an emphasis on diagnostic clarity, structured intervention, and outcome-oriented care.

I am experienced in conducting psychosocial and diagnostic assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy. My clinical interventions include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Mindfulness-Based Interventions, Psychoeducation, Solution-Focused and Problem-Solving Therapies, Group Therapy, somatic-based interventions, self-regulation and vagus nerve techniques, and specialized trauma treatment modalities. I integrate mind-body approaches to support emotional regulation, behavioral stabilization, and sustained symptom reduction.

My professional experience spans outpatient, community mental health, and behavioral health settings, where I have provided crisis intervention, care coordination, and therapeutic services for individuals presenting with trauma-related disorders, anxiety, grief, mood dysregulation, identity-related stressors, relational difficulties, family system challenges, and significant life transitions. My clinical approach is collaborative, culturally responsive, and strengths-based, prioritizing client autonomy, clinical engagement, and functional improvement.

Originally from Brazil and fluent in English and Portuguese, I bring a multicultural and biopsychosocial perspective to practice. Prior to mental health, I left medical school and a successful career in chemistry to pursue a professional dance career spanning 18 years—an experience that informs my disciplined, embodied, and integrative approach to clinical care. Outside of work, I remain committed to physical wellness and enjoy exploring active experiences that support a balanced lifestyle.
